Cause Funds: What are they, and why do we have them?

We recently launched Cause Funds. What are they, and why’d we do it? Let’s dive in.

What’s a Cause Fund? 

A Cause Fund is a collection of nonprofits with a similar causes, values, and/or goals. They enable you, as a donor, to make a single donation of your crypto asset of choice to further this collective mission.  

We’ve launched funds for animal welfare, reproductive rights, environmental conservation, Ukraine relief, and many others, featuring nonprofits of all sizes, from local grassroots to national legacy organizations.

Why donate to a Cause Fund?

There are two primary reasons. 

First, it allows you to maximize your impact by minimizing the fees and time it takes to transfer the asset from your wallet to ours.

Second, our user research consistently shows that when crypto philanthropists are asked to pick a single nonprofit from a group of well-deserving ones, they often choose not to give at all.
